Another point of view~

One of the neat things about using an infrared camera is that it gives you another way to see everyday life. The infrared spectrum is not seen by the human eye which sees in the “visible spectrum.” So, I thought it might be interesting to look at the farm in infrared using different filters on a full spectrum camera. We can also add to the variety and possibilities by using different processing techniques.

Since the sky is always changing and can be dramatic at times, using a black and white filter such as the 720nm on an infrared camera can really accentuate clouds. I never tire of the sky here, and other people who move to this area have remarked the same. I hope one day to acquire an 850nm filter, which is “pure” infrared, but usually requires a tripod as it is almost black.
