3 Day Moon and more cleanup~
Round two of cleanup–vacumming up flies and so on. First mosquito of the year–had to get out Thermacell. Hopefully will get a glimpse of Mercury.
The thin crescent of the 3 Day Moon began to reveal itself more by 8:15 and by 8:30 was really starting to show. Note: By 9:30 was completely cut off by the Ob roof. I never did get a glimpse of Mercury as it was cut off by trees to the NW.
The craters Petavius and Langrenus were just spectacular in detail. Overall, the “Gang of Four” (Furnerius, Petavius, Vendelinus and Langrenus) revealed themselves quite nicely with the 10mm Ethos.
Packed it in soon after 9:30. The sky was turning a deep azure blue.
